Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 in 1967. Julia Fiona Roberts is the fourth generation Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Her father was interested in theatre at an early age. He performed on his Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions in Atlanta. Following his air force service In 1953, he starred in an airforce production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in 2005, and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter as well as his spouse left the military in 1957 and enrolled Walter as a student at Tulane University. Walter worked for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved into Decatur Georgia. The year 1964 was when Walter and Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's TV show called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded on their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was created in the year 1964 and ran for six years. In 1965, they welcomed two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
